This month on our Employee Spotlight we highlight Tom Hind, the Sales-Project Manager for our Palm Beach Gardens office. Tom has been in the foodservice industry for over 30 years and has a wide variety of experience in engineering and construction management. This has allowed him to understand the utility requirements for the equipment, designing exhaust hoods and kitchen ventilation systems.
Tom’s favorite part about the foodservice industry is being able to work with people and new restaurateurs, and having the opportunity to watch an idea on paper become a reality. He enjoys working for Baring Foodservice Equipment Co. because we strongly believe that the best work is achieved by people do business with people, and we go the extra mile for our customers and employees.
When Tom’s not on a job site, you can find him cheering on the New York Jets! As a 22-year season ticket holder, he loved hosting large tailgate parties for 30-50 people on game day. He takes great pride in hosting events because he truly enjoys entertaining and being able to put a smile on everyone’s face. Tom believes that “In the parking lot, we’re all on the same team!”
